In addition to beautifully renovated homes in a thriving community, qualified buyers may take advantage of a variety of financial incentives from HomeFree-USA, the City of Baltimore, and our preferred lending partners.

The Baltimore City Employee Homeownership Program is a benefit to all full-time, permanently employed individuals of Baltimore City agencies or quasi-City agencies.
The Buy Back the Block program provides grants to Baltimore City residents living in and purchasing within the grant-eligible Baltimore City area. These grants do not have to be repaid. The $15,000 home purchase grant reduces the amount of money you will need up front to buy a home. The $20,000 home purchase & renovation grant reduces the amount of money you will need up front to buy and renovate a home
The Direct Homeownership Assistance Program provides down payment and closing cost assistance to eligible first-time homebuyers who (a) purchase the house they have rented and occupied for at least six months, or (b) have a household member with a disability.
FHLBank Atlanta First-Time Homebuyer Product is provided for the purchase or purchase and rehabilitation of a home. Eligible properties include owner-occupied 1-4 family properties, townhouses, condos, foreclosed properties, cooperatives, manufactured and mobile housing, and new construction (within 30 days of closing).
The First-Time Homebuyers Incentive Program (formerly Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Homeownership Assistance Program) provides $10,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance to eligible first-time homebuyers purchasing a home in Baltimore City. Participants who qualify for this program, may also qualify for the Direct Homeownership Assistance Program.
The Maryland Mortgage Program (MMP) helps homebuyers in Maryland achieve their dream of homeownership through a range of programs that make purchasing and owning a home more affordable.
HomeFree-USA Seller Incentive
As the seller, HomeFree-USA will provide up to $10,000.00 in seller concessions to help reduce your closing costs or cover other eligible expenses. This powerful incentive is designed to make your path to homeownership easier and more affordable.
Baltimore City Homeownership Incentives
Take advantage of these incredible programs offered through the City of Baltimore and Live Baltimore:
Baltimore City Employee Homeownership Program
City employees can receive up to $5,000 toward their home purchase when buying within Baltimore City. This program supports those who serve the city by helping them put down roots in the community.
Buying Into Baltimore
Eligible homebuyers can receive a $5,000 incentive by attending a homebuying event and purchasing a home within Baltimore City limits. This program is awarded via lottery to qualifying participants.
Live Near Your Work
This matching grant program offers between $2,000 and $5,000 to employees of participating institutions who purchase a home near their workplace. It’s a great way to shorten your commute while building equity.
First-Time Homebuyers Incentive Program
Eligible first-time homebuyers can receive $5,000 toward their down payment and closing costs when purchasing a home in Baltimore City.
Vacants to Value Booster
Buyers who purchase a formerly vacant home may be eligible for a $10,000 incentive through this revitalization program.
